Week Calendar

Storytime offers littles a chance to learn valuable early literacy skills that will support them not only as they learn to read, but forever as lifelong learners!

We will be making a Zero handprint craft based on the movie The Nightmare Before Christmas. If you have any questions please contact Katie.

At Wild Things Storytime we will read books together, encourage the kids to discuss ideas and illustrations, sing nursery rhymes, and enjoy a simple craft project.

We will be using the Glowforge to engrave and cut leather to make a keyring tag. You can personalize it to list your name, information, or even a quote.

We will be having a beginner crochet class for adults down at the Vernon Gym. Supplies will be provided but if you would like to bring your own, you are more than welcome to do so.

JCMS students are invited to take part in a fun book club! Students can read the Young Hoosier book award nominee and vote on their favorites. The club meets after school in the Middle School library until 4:30. Snacks are provided!

Join Miss Katie and the WOW Bus for a storytime! We will read a book, sing some songs, and kids 3-5 will be given an easy craft that can either be completed there or at home.

Are you interested in learning more about GALE Courses? Are you needing help signing up? This program will allow you to ask questions about GALE Courses, receive help creating an account and signing up for your first course.

LEGO Club is a great place for children ages 5-12 to practice their engineering skills! A new set of building challenges is available each time we meet. Look for your child's creations on the library's Facebook page following the meeting.

Bring your own Commander deck and play with other MTG players in our community! Don’t have a place for you and your friends to meet to play MTG? This is a great space for you and your friends to play! 

Decorate your walls with faux taxidermy! Supplies will be provided. Registration is required by Tuesday, October 8th, by 9 pm.

Do you want to learn the basics of crocheting? Or have a refresher? Join us for Crocheteen. Morgan Kell will be on hand to lead the class. Registration is required by Thursday, October 17th by noon.

Come and make these cool gothic window paintings with us! We will be painting on a small canvas and then applying the window to give this art a really cool gothic aesthetic!

Join us on Tuesday nights for STEM Club! During the club children will participate in a different STEM activity each week.
